Statesman staffNovember 27, 2013

Idaho Gov. Butch Otter and members of his task force on improving education will answer your questions about education reform during an online chat at 11 a.m. Dec. 5 at

Otter will take questions for the first half-hour. Then you can quiz task force members Rep. Reed DeMordaunt, R-Eagle, House Education Committee chairman; Linda Clark, Meridian School District superintendent; and Mike Lanza, a Boise parent.

The task force has pitched a significant overhaul of public education - but with a price tag of more than $300 million. The ideas are now in the hands of state lawmakers.
