A woman whose body was recovered Saturday from a car in the Boise Foothills was a 50-year-old from Boise, the Ada County coroner said Monday.

The woman's car left a dirt road off Table Rock Road, near East Wild Horse Lane, and landed 100 feet down the steep hillside, the Ada County Sheriff's Office said. An autopsy determined that she suffered traumatic blunt force trauma.

There's evidence that the woman drove off the road on purpose, the sheriff's office said.
