Mountain View High in Meridian launches business program

Mountain View High School in Meridian has launched a “High School of Business” program, which it says is the first of its kind in Idaho.

The program is a business-administration program that prepares students for college business programs.

Mountain View says it is working with Idaho colleges and universities to provide students the chance to earn college credits for their High School of Business coursework.

Students of the program’s Leadership class have selected Make-A-Wish Idaho as the benefactor of the students’ Service Learning Project.

Mountain View, open since 2003, is the fourth of Meridian's five traditional high schools and serves the southern part of the school district.
