A tip from Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of a man in connection with a Boise electronics store burglary Oct. 7.

Ryan Richards, 32, who police said is from the Sacramento, Calif., area and moved to Boise several months ago, is in the Ada County jail on multiple charges. Police said he was already in jail on an unrelated charge when he was arrested in the store burglary Nov. 4.

Richards is accused of smashing windows to get into the store near West Overland Road and South Vinnell Way at about 12:30 a.m.. He then broke open a display case and stole several items, police said.

Some of the items were recovered after Richards' arrest, but police said several items - including iPods - had already been sold by the suspect and couldn't be located.

Richards is charged with burglary, grand theft and malicious injury to property - all felonies.
