Canyon County Pet of the Week: Shotsie the German shepherd mix

November 19, 2013

Shotsie, 2-1/2, is a female German shepherd mix weighing in at 57 pounds. She is house-trained, leash-trained, and is learning to “sit” and “come” when rewarded with treats. Shotsie has led a secluded life so would probably be happiest in a home where she is the only pet. Shotsie definitely needs to be in a home without cats; calm, older children might be best, as well. As to dogs, she must have a meet and greet with any other canine that is part of the household. Shotsie’s adoption fee has been sponsored.

Shotsie is in kennel number 16 at the Canyon County Animal Shelter at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more information on our other adoptable pets, please visit our website at www.canyoncountyshelter.org
