Washington state pair jailed in Elmore County after drug arrests

A man and a woman from Washington state were booked into the Elmore County Jail on Monday after police said multiple drugs were found in their car after a traffic stop near Mountain Home.

Idaho State Police said they stopped a westbound 2011 Infinity G37 for a traffic violation at 3:05 a.m. on Interstate 84 at milepost 84.

ISP - assisted by Mountain Home Police Elmore County Sheriff's Office deputies and an Elmore County drug detection dog - said approximately 4.5 ounces of cocaine, more than 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine, small quantities of heroin and marijuana and approximately $9,400.00 were found and seized.

The driver, Robert Knowles, 47, and Sarah Miller, 21, both of Bonney Lake, were booked into the jail on multiple charges - including drug trafficking.
