Garden City Wal-Mart evacuated after bomb threat

Police are investigating a bomb threat made to the Garden City Wal-Mart Friday afternoon.

Garden City and Boise police, Ada County sheriff's deputies and members of the Boise Fire Department responded to the store at 7319 W. State St. shortly before 3 p.m.

A male caller threatened to detonate a bomb if his demand for money wasn't met, Garden City police said.

The store was evacuated but was back open within an hour.

No explosives or suspicious devices were found, police said.
