Police: Parma woman stole checks, debit card from home business

November 15, 2013

— A Parma woman is facing felony charges after police say she stole from a small business.

Gabrielle Lynn Adamson, 29, went to the victim’s Boise home on Nov. 5 to buy products from her home-based business. After she paid, the victim discovered Adamson had given her a check that was linked to an overdrawn account, police said.

The victim also realized that several of her own checks and a debit card were missing from the home. Police say Adamson cashed two of the stolen checks before she was arrested Thursday.

The suspect was charged with two felony counts of grand theft, a felony count of issuing checks without funds and a misdemeanor probation violation. She is held in the Ada County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
