Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State women’s basketball loses on the road

LAS CRUCES, N.M. — New Mexico State led from start to finish en route to a 98-68 victory over the Broncos on Thursday. Keiahnna Engel tied her career high with 14 points to lead Boise State (1-2), and Miquelle Askew added 10 points and a team-high nine rebounds.

BSU VOLLEYBALL: Fresno State topped the Broncos 23-25, 25-17, 25-20, 26-24 at Bronco Gym. Alyssa Gammel had 16 kills, Hannah Hubbard recorded 16 digs and Brittany Reardon collected five blocks for BSU (11-15, 5-11 MW).

IDAHO STATE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Bengals have signed five new players, including Megan Hochstein, a 6-foot-1 forward. Hochstein plays for Rocky Mountain High and attends Meridian Medical Arts Charter School.
