POCATELLO — The Idaho State Bengals will get another shot at winning four games in a season for the first time since 2005 when they host the Portland State Vikings at Holt Arena.
Idaho State has passed for 337.9 yards per game, seventh in the FCS, and itll likely find itself in a shootout with Portland State. The Vikings are sixth nationally with 514.6 yards of total offense per game, finding balance in the air (252.3 yards per game) and on the ground (262.2).
The Bengals offensive line has taken a step up this season, allowing 2.67 sacks per game. Thats on pace to be its best average since 2006, and it will be tested by a Portland State defense that has registered 21 sacks, second-most in the Big Sky Conference.
