Boise police have released photos that they hope will lead them to two persons of interest in the theft of a bag from a Valley Ride bus the afternoon of Nov. 4.

Police said a wheelchair-bound rider left a black bag on the bus when she was dropped off at West State and 9th Streets. The bag was left in the front of the bus.

After continuing west on State Street, the bus picked up two male riders. They were dropped off after a short trip in the area of Gary Lane and Bunch Court.

The bag was found in a trash can on Gary Lane, police said, but cash and identification were missing.

Police believe the men in the photos may know what happened to the bag. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, log on to www.343cops.com or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236.
