Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State soccer makes Mountain West title game

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The third-seeded Broncos defeated No. 2 seed Fresno State 2-1 in double overtime Thursday in the semifinals of the conference tournament. Redshirt freshman KT Clayton scored the game-winner in the 109th minute. BSU (13-6-3, 7-3-1 MW), which reached the 13-win mark for the first time since 2009, advances to face top-seeded San Diego State on Saturday in the championship.

BSU VOLLEYBALL: The Broncos lost to New Mexico 16-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-17 in Albuquerque. Taylor Murphey led BSU (11-13, 5-9 MW) with 13 kills, and Hannah Hubbard recorded a team-high 14 digs.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE VOLLEYBALL: The Crusaders staved off eight set points to beat Seattle Pacific 18-25, 25-21, 31-29, 25-23 on the road.
