Nampa man charged with sex with teen

November 6, 2013

— A Nampa man faces felony charges after police say he had sex with a 16-year-old girl.

Jerry Pfeiffer, 53, had sexual contact with the teen twice at a location in the area of Dooley Lane and South Raintree Drive in Nampa, police said. Pfeiffer is also accused of sending the girl explicit text messages.

Police say they believe Pfeiffer has more victims. He was arraigned Tuesday and released on a $250,000 bond. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Pfeiffer has been charged with felony lewd conduct with a child under 16, child sexual abuse, and enticing children through the Internet, video image or other communication device. He is set for a preliminary hearing Nov. 19.

Anyone with information about Pfeiffer or other potential victims is encouraged to call Nampa Police Detective Mark Palfreyman at 475-5717.
