91-year-old Nampa man missing

— Deputies are searching for an elderly man who headed to the grocery story Tuesday afternoon and never returned.

According to the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, 91-year-old Charles Thornburg was headed to the WinCo Foods in Nampa at about 2 p.m. He was expected to return within two hours but has not been seen since.

Thornburg suffers some memory loss but has no known medical conditions, deputies say. He was last seen driving a silver 2006 Chevrolet Equinox, with Idaho license plate number 2CD5331.

He is 5-foot-7 and 145 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. Thornburg was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, dark jeans and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information is urged to contact local law enforcement or the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office at 454-7531.
