Wet, foggy start to Wednesday

November 6, 2013

— A dense blanket of fog settled over still-wet roads in the Treasure Valley Wednesday morning.

Meteorologists say the fog will clear by 11 a.m., but rain is likely to stick around. Showers are expected to start again in Boise Wednesday night. Temperatures are expected to hit 50 degrees during the day.

Rain will continue Thursday, with chances of precipitation rising from 30 percent to 40 percent. Despite the soggy weather continuing into the night, the area is set to warm slightly, reaching a high of 57 degrees.

Residents can expect a clear and cool, Friday and Saturday., with temperatures reaching the low 50s and no threat of rain. Sunshine will continue Sunday, as Boise warms up to 58 degrees. Lows for the weekend will be in the 30s.
