Ada County Pet of the Week: Arlin the terrier

November 5, 2013

Arlin, 4, is a neutered male, brown and white, Jack Russell terrier.

Arlin exudes big terrier personality. He is confident, friendly and high energy. He is a smart dog that will need an owner who can channel his energy and brain power to positive outlets. Arlin loves to play with toys and crawled right into the toy box during his shelter evaluation. Arlin has taken part in shelter dog playgroups and can be pushy with other dogs, but he does back off when another confident dog corrects his behavior.

He will do best in a home with older teens or adults only. Arlin appears to be crate-trained.

Arlin can be found in kennel 322 (#21246115) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
