Caldwell hospital executive receives promotion

November 2, 2013

— Julie Taylor, chief executive officer of West Valley Medical Center, has been promoted to a similar position at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage.

Taylor served for nearly three years as the head of the Caldwell hospital. John Hanshaw, a division head for the Hospital Corporation of America, which owns both hospitals, praised Taylor for enhancing patient care by increasing the ratio between nurses and patients and for implementing a health and wellness program to help local employers keep their workers healthy.
