Two injured in Caldwell crash

November 2, 2013 

— Johnathan Garibay-Avila, 21, of Homedale and Lisa M. Boyd, 49, of Caldwell were taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Garibay-Avila was headed west on U.S. 20 at Franklin Road at 7:30 p.m. when his 1991 Nissan pickup collided nearly head-on with a 1998 Ford F250 pickup driven by Boyd.

The two vehicles then crashed into a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by Lori J. Wardle, 41, of Rainier, Ore.

The intersection of Highway 20 and Franklin Road was blocked for more than two hours.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
