November 1, 2013

It's that time of year, powder hounds. Epic skiing and snowboarding films get the juices flowing for cold-weather adventures to come. First up: the ninth annual Winter Wildlands Backcountry Film Festival, which will debut in Boise before making more than 100 screenings worldwide. Ten films are on the agenda, but the most talked about is sure to be Sweetgrass Productions' "Valhalla," a psychedelia-tinged journey that includes two minutes of naked outdoor enthusiasts shredding powder. In the words of George Costanza: Shrinkage!
