Southwest Idaho waters get rainbow trout

Idaho Fish and Game will be stocking more than 15,000 pan-size rainbows in a variety of waters in Southwest Idaho.

Stocking depends on the weather and other factors, Fish and Game said.

Waters to be stocked include:

Boise River (above Glenwood Bridge) - Nov. 11, 1,200.

Boise River (below Glenwood Bridge) - Nov. 11, 600.

Caldwell Pond No. 2 - Nov. 11, 450.

Caldwell Pond No. 3 - Nov. 11, 250.

Eagle Island Park Pond - Nov. 4, 450.

Ed’s Pond (Emmett) - Nov. 4, 200.

Kleiner Pond (Meridian) - Nov. 4, 900.

Marsing Pond - Oct. 28, 500.

McDevitt Pond (Boise) - Nov. 4,, Nov. 18, 450 each day.

Merrill Pond (Eagle) - Nov. 4, 450.

Mill Pond (Horseshoe Bend) - Nov. 4, 900.

Parkcenter Pond (Boise) - Nov. 4, 900.

Payette Greenbelt Pond - Nov. 11, 450.
