IDOC seeks absconded parolee

October 30, 2013

Police are searching for a convicted felon who absconded from parole. Stephen Andrew Edgeman, 25, failed to check in with his parole officer Sept. 10.

When officers went to Edgeman's Moscow home, he had moved out, said Christine Iverson, supervisor of IDOC's Fugitve Investigation Unit.

He received a suspended sentence for convictions for grand theft and forgery in 2007, and was set to be finished with parole in December of next year.

Edgeman is 6’2 and 190 pounds. He has blue eyes, brown hair, and a fair complexion.

Iverson said she hoped someone would recognize the suspect and call police.

"We always really appreciate the help that our citizens across the state give us," she said.

Anyone with information about where he is is asked to contact Moscow Police at 208-882-COPS.
