Ada, Canyon early voting ends Friday.

If you want to avoid making a stop at you polling place on Election Day next week, then get your vote in now during early voting.

Ada and Canyon residents may vote in person at their county elections office through Friday, Nov. 1. Ada County early voting takes place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 400 N. Benjamin Lane in Boise. Canyon County early voting takes place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1102 E. Chicago St. in Caldwell. For information on early voting in other counties, contact your county elections office.

As of Wednesday, 920 people have voted early in Ada County.

Today, Oct. 30, is the last day to request an absentee ballot. Requests must be received by 5 p.m. Absentee ballot request forms are available at You also may request an absentee ballot in person or in writing from your county clerk's office. Absentee ballots must be returned to your county elections office by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

As of Wednesday, 3,400 absentee ballots have been filed in Ada County.

Polls will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.

If you are not yet registered to vote, you can register during early voting or on Election Day at your polling place.

Look up where you vote via or call Ada County Elections at 287-6860 or Canyon County Elections at 454-7562 to confirm your polling place.
