Lanes reopened after semi and car collide on interstate

A semi truck and a passenger car collided on the eastbound interstate near Ten Mile Road Wednesday morning.


Lanes are open after a semi truck and a passenger car crashed on I-84. The wreck happened just after 8 a.m. on eastbound I-84 near Black Cat Road.

It is unknown if anyone in the wreck is seriously injured, but dispatchers say the car's airbags deployed in the crash. Paramedics and Idaho State Police were sent to the scene.

The crash closed two lanes and caused traffic delays before they were reopened. Police are cautioning drivers to watch out for continued congestion in the area.
