Boiseans stayed close to home in the June-September quarter, the airport reports. Las Vegas flights increased 22 percent over last year, thanks to new nonstop flights.

That made Las Vegas the No. 3 destination. Seattle and Portland topped the destination list. Cities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington also made the top 10.

Absent were major hubs Minneapolis/St. Paul and Chicago. Honolulu flights rose 109 percent, though still not enough to enter the top 10.

Charts show passenger counts, other Boise Airport data.
