Ada County Pet of the Week: Jupiter the cat

October 29, 2013

Jupiter, 1-1/2, is a spayed female, gray, cream and white, domestic shorthair cat. Jupiter was surrendered to the shelter when her family was moving and unable to take her along.

She is a demure cat that takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people. She likes to feel in control and will seek gentle attention once she feels comfortable with you. Her previous family reported she is affectionate with family members. Jupiter has beautiful calico markings and she keeps her short coat tidy. She has lived contently with other cats and dogs. She is litter-box trained and would prefer a calmer, indoor home.

Jupiter can be found in kennel 14 (#20502782) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
