ISP: Nampa man killed in rollover crash in Gem County

October 27, 2013

A 53-year-old Nampa man was killed Sunday afternoon when his pickup went over an embankment and came to rest in a creek in remote Gem County, according to Idaho State Police.

Lloyd Shreeve was pronounced dead at the scene, about 16 miles north of Ola. The crash was reported at 12:43 p.m.

Investigators say Shreeve was driving a 2004 Ford 250 on 3rd Fork Road. For unknown reasons, the pickup went off the road, rolled down an embankment. Shreeve, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle.

Gem County Coroner John L. Buck, who was called to the scene, said Shreeve had been hunting in the area.

Idaho State Police are investigating the crash.
