Canyon County Pet of the Week: Daisy the terrier mix

October 22, 2013

Daisy, 1, is an American Staffordshire terrier/mix who is red and white, and weighs 61 pounds. She is friendly and outgoing — except with cats. She is nonvocal, so your neighbors will never know she is there. She also knows basic commands. We recommend a meet-and-greet with the canine members of her new family, as she can be dominant with other dogs.

Daisy is in kennel number 9 in Large Dog Adoptions at the Canyon County Animal Shelter in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more, log on at www.canyoncountyshelter.org
