October 20, 2013

A crash just after 5 a.m. Sunday near Caldwell killed a 21-year-old man, according to the Canyon County Sheriff's Office. The name of the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not yet been released.

The single-vehicle rollover crash occurred at Karcher Road and Winter Green Drive.

The sheriff's office says the driver of the car was not wearing a seat belt. He was ejected from the vehicle. Investigators say alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash, but they did not specify what evidence lead them to suspect that.
