Canyon County job fair aims to fill wide range of jobs

Six employers are holding a job fair Monday at the Idaho Department of Labor’s Canyon County office.

The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the office in Caldwell, 4514 Thomas Jefferson St. Representatives from HB Boys/Burger King, ProService, Adecco, Circle J, Franz Family Bakeries and Home Depot will be on hand to meet with job seekers, who should bring their résumés.

Pay varies for each employer, ranging from minimum wage to $16 per hour, plus some salary positions, Department of Labor spokesman Bob Fick said. Among the jobs being offered:

Æ Cooks, cashiers, supervisors and assistant managers Æ Production workers, quality inspectors, solderers Æ Bilingual (English/Spanish) cashiers Æ Customer care associates (English, German and French speaking) Æ Welders, steel and aluminum Æ Painters Æ Finish workers (placing stickers, pulling wires, etc.0 Æ General laborers Æ Forklift drivers Æ Material handlers Æ Shipping/receiving and loading dock employees
