Convenience store robber still at large

— Nampa police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store just before midnight Thursday night.

Police say the man walked into a Jacksons in the 200 block of 22nd Avenue and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk gave the suspect money from the cash register, and he fled. He was last seen headed south on foot.

Police did not disclose how much money was stolen.

The suspect is about 5-foot-7 and slender, and was dressed in black with a black balaclava over his face at the time of the robbery.

He never showed a weapon during the robbery, police said, and no one was injured.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call the Nampa Police Department at 465-2257 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
