8 p.m. Oct. 19, Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St., Boise. $35 and $45 in advance at The Record Exchange, Egyptian Theatre box office, 387-1273, and EgyptianTheatre.net. $37 and $47 day of show.

Who would have thought that imitating the Beatles would become a cottage industry? But it is, with a multitude of tribute bands on the road today such as Rain, Beatlemania and The Fab Four, the latest look-and-sound alikes who will play Boise.

Ron McNeil, Ardy Sarraf, Gavin Pring and Erik Fidel are ringers for John, Paul, George and Ringo — if not physically (they do wear wigs), then for sure vocally. You’ll hear every inflection from the recordings as the show revisits the Beatles’ songbook from “Help” to “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Band” to “Hey Jude.”

The Fab Four also is featured on a PBS special airing nationally.
