Pierce joins TitleOne

Jim Pierce has joined the company as vice president and Kootenai County team leader. He will manage daily operations at the new Coeur d’Alene office, as well as managing team members and customer relationships.

Pierce has 25 years of general business experience that includes finance, commercial lending, sales, marketing, business management, customer service and community relations. A Coeur d’Alene resident, he most recently worked in the banking industry as a vice president of commercial lending. He serves on the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce Board and is a past board member for the EXCEL Foundation. He also is active in the local Rotary club.

Pierce holds a master’s of business administration in finance and management from Washington State University and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in business finance. He received the Truman Scholar award in 1986 and was a finalist for a Rhodes scholarship in 1987.

Windermere adds Boise sales associate

Jennifer Mauk has joined Windermere Real Estate/Richard B. Smith, Inc. as a sales associate in its Boise office.

Previously, Mauk was a social worker handling at-risk youth and case management/ program coordination for adults with disabilities.

Design West adds four employees

Jeff Brewer, Tim Grissom, Chris Vondemkamp and Paul Haas have joined Design West Architects P.A. of Meridian.

Brewer serves as project manager and brings more than 20 years of commercial construction and project management experience to the firm.

Grissom, Vondemkamp and Haas join the firm as intern architects working toward professional licensure.

Grissom is a LEED Accredited professional and obtained his master’s in architecture from the University of Idaho in 2008.

Vondemkamp graduated from North Dakota State University in 2006 with bachelor’s degrees in architecture, environmental design and sociology.

Haas is a LEED Accredited Professional and earned a master’s in architecture from UC Berkeley in 2000 and a bachelor’s in English from Rutgers University in 1997.
