Boise man charged with threatening another with a knife in Rhodes Park

October 11, 2013

— A Boise man was arrested early Friday morning after he allegedly pulled a knife on a man in Rhodes Park.

The victim told police that he was arguing with Kenneth Rockney Vivier, 51, when the man threatened him with a knife. Vivier and the victim are well known to each other, police said.

Officers found Vivier in the park after 12:15 a.m. He appeared very intoxicated, police said. They also discovered that he had a misdemeanor probation violation warrant.

Vivier was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail. He faces a felony aggravated assault charge in addition to the probation violation, and is scheduled to be arraigned in court Friday afternoon.
