Boise faces wet weekend

October 11, 2013

Friday will be sunny with a high of 59 degrees, but the clear weather won’t stick around for long, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers are expected to move into the area after noon on Saturday, with a 20 percent chance of rain. That will increase to a 30 percent chance Saturday night.

On Sunday the high will drop from 62 degrees to 59 degrees, and rain will continue. A 30 percent chance of showers should evaporate after noon, leading into a clear and cold Sunday night.

Sunshine will be back leading into next week, but chillier temperatures appear to be here to stay. Monday and Tuesday will bring highs in the upper 50s and low 60s, but temperatures are slated to drop into the 30s at night.
