Most Idaho National Guard members who were furloughed will return to work this week

Most of about 850 Idaho National Guard members who were furloughed without pay will return to work this week, according to Col. Tim Marsano.

In a release Sunday, Marsano said the U.S. Department of Defense's interpretation of the "Pay Our Military Act" allows for the return to work. Some will be back on Monday, others on Tuesday.

Maj. General Gary Sayler, Idaho National Guard commander, said those who were furloughed should check the web site for the latest information.
