It should be one delicious conversation when one of the country’s leading foodies, Ruth Reichl, leads off The Cabin’s Readings and Conversations series. She’s a former New York Times restaurant critic, noted food writer and a judge for Bravo television network’s popular culinary competition show “Top Chef Masters.”

The event will happen in two courses.

• First you can dine with Reichl on stage at the Morrison Center. The BSU culinary chefs will present a creative menu.

• Next, Reichl will present her talk “Eating Our Words,” which is about the history of food as entertainment, and what its changing language says about our culture.
