Sometimes when performers return to Boise regularly, the thrill wears off and crowds start to dwindle slightly. But a few gifted acts - such as Michael Franti - build diehard audiences.

The tall, inspirational singer is on pace for his biggest Revolution Center crowd yet, organizers say, which means feel-good vibes will permeate the evening. (This is a barefoot dude who offers fans hugs after shows.)

The title of Franti’s 2010 album, “The Sound of Sunshine,” sums up his dynamic. Franti’s newest album, “All People,” keeps the positivity flowing with its uplifting, whistle-powered single “I’m Alive (Life Sounds Like).”
