Boise State Distinguished Lecture event focuses on China

Learn about China and the world economy with historian Jonathan Spence as part of the Boise State University Honor College's Distinguished Lecture Series this fall.

A MacArthur Fellow, Spence will speak on "China's Quest for Stability: The Rise, Fall, and Renewal of a Global Power, 1600 to 2013." He is the world's foremost authority on Chinese civilization and the role of history in shaping modern China.
