Western Treasure Valley job fair set Oct. 10 in Ontario

A career fair for southwestern Idaho and southeastern Oregon is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Four Rivers Cultural Center, 676 SW 5th Ave., Ontario, Ore.

Organizers expect up to 60 employers to participate. Those already committed are American Staffing, Tillamook Cheese, Northwestern Mutual, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, Presbyterian Community Care Center, Saint Alphonsus Health System, Oregon Army National Guard, BD Employment Solutions Inc., Modern Woodman of America, Americold, St. Luke's Health System, Home Depot, Western Idaho Training Co. Inc., Oregon Human Development Corp., Express Employment Professionals, Best Buy, Dickinson Frozen Foods and the Snake River Correctional Institution.

Job seekers are urged to bring copies of their résumés and be prepared for formal job interviews.
