Finalists announced for Idaho Innovation awards

Stoel Rives LLP has announced finalists for the four annual Idaho Innovation Awards.

Finalists were unveiled Sept. 20 in the Idaho Technology Council newsletter, and winners will be announced during the council’s Tech Hall of Fame celebration Oct. 23.

The annual Idaho Innovation Awards are presented by Stoel Rives, Kickstand and Idaho Technology Council.

The categories, with this year's finalists in alphabetical order, are:

Early-Stage Innovation of the Year Æ ReadyLight Pistol Light by William Squires Æ Switchable Polarity Solvents Forward Osmosis by Idaho National Laboratory Æ Syphon Sound by Syphon Sound

Innovative Company of the Year Æ CradlePoint Æ Kount Æ MetaGeek, LLC

Innovator of the Year Æ Nancy Caspersen, president and CEO, Quit and Live Global, Inc. Æ David Cohen, CEO, FieldSync Mobile Solutions LLC Æ Patrick Lawless, executive director, StartupBoise

Tickets for the Oct. 23 Hall of Fame and awards ceremony at the Boise Centre are available online at http://www.idahotechcouncil.org. Individual seats are $85 for ITC and Kickstand members and $125 for nonmembers. A table for 10 costs $750 for members and $900 for nonmembers.
