Boise police seek suspect in credit union robbery

— The suspect is described as a light skinned male, approximately 30 years old, 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, with short, scruffy blond hair. Witnesses say the suspect was wearing a short-sleeve orange shirt, a blue-and-orange baseball cap and dark jeans during the robbery.

Boise Police responded to a 2:35 p.m. report of an armed robbery at the credit union in the 300 block of North 13th Street. Witnesses told officers that the suspect entered the credit union and demanded money.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the robbery. Police are searching the area around the credit union.

Police would not confirm the identify of the credit union. Idaho United Credit Union, at 333 N. 13th Street, is the only one listed in the 300 block.

No one answered phone calls placed to the credit union this afternoon for confirmation.
