Bob Firman cross country is Saturday

More than 2,200 athletes from seven states will tackle the 5-kilometer course at the Bob Firman Invitational cross country meet Saturday at Eagle Island State Park.

The schedule is as follows (times are approximate): ninth-grade girls (9 a.m.), ninth-grade boys (9:40 a.m.), DII varsity boys (10:20 a.m.), DI varsity boys (10:50 a.m.), elite varsity girls (11:20 a.m.), elite varsity boys (11:50 a.m.), DII varsity girls (12:20 p.m.), DI varsity girls (12:55 p.m.), JV boys schools A-L (1:30 p.m.), JV boys schools M-Z (2:05 p.m.), JV girls schools A-L (2:40 p.m.), JV girls schools M-Z (3:20 p.m.), middle school boys 3k (4 p.m.), and middle school girls 3k (4:30 p.m.).

Admission into Eagle Island is $5 per car.
