Educational products store opens Friday in Boise

Lakeshore Learning Store opens Friday at 417 N. Milwaukee St., Boise.

The store will employ about 30 people and is owned by Lakeshore Equipment Co. in Carson, Calif.

Lakeshore Learning Store will sell teachers and parents educational products, toys and games including building sets, puzzles and science kids. It also will host free teachers workshops, family-oriented events and free crafts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday.

The 59-year-old company has 58 stores, including the Boise store, which is its first in Idaho.
