Local colleges: Boise State women's golf second at Bronco Invitational

KUNA — Three Broncos are in the top five going into the final round of the Bronco Fall Invitational, the only home match of the 2013-14 season. Santa Clara's Kaci McCartan leads with a 4-under 140 after 36 holes.

Boise State golfers in the top five include Sammie Pless (141), Genevieve Ling (146) and Samantha Martin (146).

Santa Clara leads the team competition at 578, followed by Boise State (587), Portland State (595), Grand Canyon (605), Weber State (607), Eastern Washington (612), Hawaii (614), Montana State (626), Utah Valley (644) and Idaho State (674).

College of Idaho men's golf: Senior Kyle DeLorey (Timberline High) shot a final round 69 - and recorded the lowest 54-hole score by a C of I men's golfer in recorded history - to help the Coyotes to a fifth-place finish at the Oregon Tech Invitational at Running Y Ranch in Klamath Falls, Ore. DeLorey finished second-place overall with a 3-under 213, four shots behind winner Jesse Heinly of Concordia.

College of Idaho women's golf: Senior Baylee Borchers (Mountain View High) completed a wire-to-wire victory, tying a career-best with a final-round 73 to earn medalist honors at the Oregon Tech Invitational in Klamath Falls. The senior finished with a 12-over 228 to earn her second straight medalist honor.
