Canyon County Pet of the Week: Norman the boxer mix

September 17, 2013

Norman, 8, is a boxer (with some Shar-Pei?) mix. He seems an easy-keeper kind and an independent type of guy. He doesn't jump or try to get your attention. But have a leash in your hand and stand in front of his kennel and he just perks right up. Norman was surrendered after his owner died. He gets along great with other dogs, and appears to be house-trained. Norman is neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccines.

Norman is in kennel # 6 at the Canyon County Animal Shelter at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more on other adoptable pets, visit
