Ada County Pet of the Week: Snoopy the Shar-Pei mix

September 17, 2013

Snoopy, 5, is a neutered male, black and brown, Shar-Pei mix. Snoopy was relinquished to the shelter due to a move. He unfortunately has lived most of his life outdoors, but this gentle guy deserves a home that will include him in daily life. A little shy and aloof at first, Snoopy opens up once he has a chance to bond and get to know you. His previous owner reported that he does well with children of all ages and other dogs. At the shelter he has done well in smaller playgroups, but is still behaves a bit aloof in the shelter environment. Snoopy weighs about 70 pounds and has a short, easy-to-manage coat.

Snoopy can be found in kennel 420 (#20341209) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman Street in Boise. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
