ATK, ammo maker with Lewiston plans, buys Bushnell

ATK, which has more than 1,000 employees in Lewiston, is expanding again.

The Arlington, Va.,-based company is acquiring Bushnell Group Holdings Inc. for $985 million. Bushnell designs, markets and distributes accessories such as rifle scopes, binoculars, trail cameras and golf laser rangefinders sold under names including Primos, Bolle, Hoppe’s, Uncle Mike’s, Butler Creek and Serengeti.
