Greenbelt rider says man tried to grab her

September 13, 2013

A woman reported Thursday afternoon that a man tried to grab her while she was riding her bicycle on the Greenbelt near the Boise State University campus.

Details are sketchy. Campus Security & Police Services could not provide a time when the incident occurred.

The woman said she stopped to check on her bicycle tire when the man approached her and grabbed at her shoulder. The man was described as in his late 20s or early 30s, with short, dark hair.

The man was wearing a black shirt with a white or gray symbol in the center. He was also carrying a backpack.

Boise State notified students, faculty members and other campus workers of the incident.

The Boise Police Department is investigating the incident.
