Idaho volleyball tops Boise State in five sets

BOISE — Boise State led 2-1 after three sets, but Idaho rallied to win the final two sets for the victory in the Courtyard Marriott Bronco Volleyball Classic in Bronco Gym on Thursday. The 16-25, 28-26, 14-25, 25-22, 15-13 victory was the 200th of Idaho coach Debbie Buchanan’s career. Jessica led the Vandals (4-4) with 16 kills, and Alyssa Gammel and Taylor Murphey each had 14 kills for Boise State (3-4). The three-day tournament continues through Saturday.
