Senior living community planned for Eagle

September 10, 2013

Construction of a 116-unit senior living community in Eagle will begin in November near the Fresco Arts Academy.

The project $15.2 million project will be located in the northwest quadrant of the Fisher Park Way and State Street intersection.

Gardner Co. is the project developer. The project continues a busy time for Gardner, which is nearing completion of it's Eighth and Main project downtown and recently purchased the nearby U.S. Bank Building.

Phase 1 of the project will be building 44 patio homes, which are scheduled to be completed and operating by March.

Phase 2 of the project will be 44 assisted living units and 28 memory care units. Construction is scheduled for spring 2014 with plans to open by February 2015.

The community will include a senior clinic, movie theater, pub, chapel, salon, media room, library, restaurant-style dining, fitness center, outdoor courtyards and resident transportation.

Edgewood Management Group LLC will operate the community. Based in Grand Forks, N.D., Edgewood owns or operates 41 senior living communities with 2,500 beds in seven states.
